Savoy goes national with Twentyone

Preston-based Savoy Timber has gone national with a new ecommerce website from Blackburn digital marketing agency Twentyone.

Founded in Preston in 1952, with further outlets in Blackpool and Wigan, Savoy supplies doors, decking, worktops and cut-to-size timber.

The family-run business first hired Twentyone three years ago to improve the online sales of its existing website.  Improvements implemented by Twentyone saw online sales grow from thousands to millions within year one.

Now the company has relaunched the website using the latest Magento2 ecommerce software, with the aim of boosting sales even further, competing on a national stage.

Anthony Royle, ecommerce manager for Savoy Timber, said: “We are really excited about the new website and its potential to make Savoy a real national player.  Twentyone have already transformed the performance of our business online and so, with the very latest ecommerce software in place and their ongoing support, we’re really looking forward to taking things to the next level.”

With a team of 12 based at Trident Way, Twentyone provides web design, web development, SEO, Google AdWords, conversion rate optimisation, digital consultancy, social media marketing and email marketing.

Twentyone managing director Sam Fletcher said: “We’re really proud to have been able to work with a company like Savoy, which is something of a household name in Preston, Blackpool and Wigan, and help take their products and services to a national audience.

“Magento2 is known as the new industry standard for ecommerce sites, but there are lots of other digital marketing tactics, like customer advice, price match guarantees and flash sales, that can be used to really keep the business at the head of the game online.”
