Nelson firm launches innovative new energy centre

Customers of a Nelson company got an exclusive glimpse into the workings of an innovative new energy centre which puts Pendle well and truly on the map.

Over 100 guests attended the launch of Businesswise Solutions’ cutting edge office space, where they were invited to immerse themselves in a futuristic energy journey like never seen before.

Managing Director Frazer Durris said: “We have worked tirelessly over the past six months to transform an empty 10,000sq ft shell into this; an interactive energy centre and engaging workplace for our growing team.

“We want this to be a space where we can educate customers about the opportunities available to them; disrupting the market using better buying and management methods, new technologies, data and artificial intelligence to their advantage.

“Complete with gym, shower facilities, social games area and open plan work stations, we also want this to be a place where staff enjoy working and can develop with us as we continue to grow.

“We currently have a team of 40 staff and it is our aim to grow this figure to 60 by 2019, so there are some fantastic career opportunities for the right candidates with full training and development provided.”

Now one of the fastest growing, corporate energy brokers in the UK, Businesswise Solutions is a privately-owned business which was set up in 2010 from a kitchen table by directors Frazer Durris and Dean Cockett.

The business has enjoyed 30-50% revenue growth year on year for each of the last 5 years and is on target to reach a £5m turnover by 2020.

Dean said: “We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved to date and the launch of the energy centre marks the next exciting chapter and the perfect time for anyone seeking a new challenge to join us.”
