BNI Infinity passes £3m

A Blackburn networking group has celebrated passing £3 million in business since its launch.

BNI Infinity, which meets weekly at Wilpshire Golf Club, Blackburn, is part of the world’s largest referral marketing organisation, Business Network International.

Established over 30 years, BNI has around 240,000 members in over 70 countries worldwide.  It works by organising weekly networking meetings for groups of businesses.  Groups, known as chapters, use their combined network of contacts to find business opportunities and referrals for one another, to a specific brief that members outline at every meeting.

East Lancashire has five chapters and was recently declared the top BNI region out of 72 in the UK.  BNI Infinity alone is the number eight chapter in the country and previously celebrated passing the £1 million mark in October 2016.

Claire said: “BNI has been an essential part of Jets GPS’s growth and we’re currently members of two chapters in East Lancashire.

“What is great is that, far from competing with one another, all the local chapters really work together.  It’s like one big business community of people with the shared ideal of givers gain, all coming together to boost business in the local area, purely through getting to know like and trust one another, which provides confidence in recommending and introducing people across everyone’s extended networks.”
