R&J chooses 21Digital to extend national reach

Blackburn digital marketing agency 21Digital has won a contract to provide a new ecommerce website, digital advertising and search engine optimisation services for R&J Builders Hardware.

Established for over forty seven years, R & J (Builders Hardware) Ltd is a family owned and managed business employing over one hundred people on a three acre site at Whitebirk Industrial Estate, Blackburn.

The company sells and distributes a wide range of specialist products to the building and allied trades nationally, as well as from its trade counter in Blackburn, and was featured on the Lancashire Business View Hot 100 list published in July this year.

21Digital has been commissioned to deliver a new Magento 2 website, with PPC (pay per click) advertising management and SEO (search engine optimisation) in order to increase online sales on a national basis.

R&J Builders Hardware eCommerce Manager Nicola Bargh said: “We’re very pleased to have appointed 21Digital who we selected based on their previous successful track record boosting trade retailer websites from thousands in turnover to millions.

“We are looking forward to working with them to increase our digital presence and sales nationally.”

With a team of twelve, 21Digital provides web design, web development, SEO, Google AdWords, conversion rate optimisation, digital consultancy, social media marketing and email marketing.

21Digital managing director Sam Fletcher said: “We are very pleased to have been appointed by such a prestigious family firm with a long and proud history.  Using the latest software and our digital expertise, we are looking forward to extending the company’s core values of customer care and high quality standards to a national audience.”
