North West-based SaaS animation firm Viddyoze has made 10 new hires as part of its growth strategy.
Viddyoze has just celebrated its fifth birthday and is one of the North West’s fastest growing companies.
Its technology allows people to create and use their own video animation and is now being used in 250,000 monthly clips worldwide.
The latest hires take the total global workforce to 52 and co-founder David Chamberlain predicted more would follow.
The 10 recruits include new content manager Narinder Purba and new head of customer support and experience Katy Morris.
Purba has previously worked as the managing editor of Melt Digital and Mediablaze Group, in London, while Morris worked most recently as customer experience manager at World Fuel Services.
Purba said: “I’ve spent most of my career in London but as soon as I met the guys at Viddyoze I knew I wanted to be part of such an ambitious and exciting company.
“Great content comes down to great storytelling and Viddyoze’s story is compelling. It’s an exciting time and everyone is so friendly.”
Viddyoze has also recruited a number a developers and recently appointed former MediaCom executive Fiona Hunt as a board adviser to help with the launch of a new enterprise solution.
Chamberlain, who founded Lancashire-based Viddyoze in 2015 with Jamie Garside and Joey Xoto, said the new appointments come at an exciting time in the history of the company.
“We have an ambitious growth trajectory which is why it’s so important to strengthen our team, especially in middle management positions,” he explained.
“The first five years have been amazing for Viddyoze but we all believe the best is yet to come. Our new enterprise solution will open up new markets to us and the new members of our team bring a wealth of experience with them.
“We’re also strengthening our R&D capability and have recruited several talented developers.
“The nice thing is we’re now getting approached from people who want to work for us because they’ve heard about the Viddyoze story.”
Viddyoze’s customers include Tesla, Sony and PwC to churches and SMEs. It has more than 1,500 templates on its platform.
