Jets GPS Celebrating 10 Year Anniversary

Blackburn based Commercial Vehicle camera, safety systems and GPS Tracking provider, Jets GPS Fleet Solutions are celebrating 10 years since their incorporation this year.

Starting in 2011 as a GPS Tracking provider, Jets were early commercial vehicle dashcam adopters, recognising the benefits these would bring for commercial fleets defending fraudulent claims against them and protecting their insurance premiums.

As an independent provider, Jets GPS have always strived to move with evolving fleet technology to offer the best of breed solutions to suit individual client requirements.

The last eighteen months has seen them exceptionally busy with live streaming and remote download multi-camera and cyclist safety solutions for their HGV clients.

Founder and Managing Director, Jan Evans, said “I don’t think we’ve ever been as busy as we are going into our 10th Anniversary which is fantastic.
Though Jets is only 10, I’m in my 18th year in the industry so have really seen it evolve and boom to its current state where the solutions we provide are considered more of a must have than a nice to have.
Legislation and accreditations that forward thinking clients are obtaining require a level of safety, management and accountability that cannot be met without technology and as such we have been lucky enough to thrive during the current pandemic.
As a family-owned business with strong values we were able to adjust the way our fitters work very quickly to ensure we could safely service our new and existing clients in line with a safe COVID policy.
This has been hugely important as our clients have been getting ready for the DVS Scheme coming into effect for HGV’s in London, and we’ve been able to help them with the safety equipment they need to obtain their permits.
The world has changed an awful lot in the past 10 years, as has the equipment we provide as technology has gone from strength to strength and we’ve always wanted to be at the forefront of the latest developments.
We’re very proud of our loyal client base and look forward to celebrating our 20th Anniversary with them!”
