B2BTradeCard Golf Day Raises Over £2,000

B2BTradeCard has raised £2,010 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a golf day organised by the advertising services, incentive and loyalty solutions provider for its members.

Held at The Forest of Arden golf course, Warwickshire, the day sponsored by long-standing members Retail Transport Services saw 40 golfers take to the venue’s most reputable course.

B2BTradeCard Marketing Executive Olanta Harding said: “The weather for the day was extremely wet and windy but it did not stop our golfers, who completed all 18 holes.

“We ran individual, group, nearest to the pin, and longest drive competitions. The individual competition prize was a helicopter flight over the Lake District with B2BTradeCard CEO Craig Parsons as pilot.

“The prize for longest drive was a two-person spa stay at a Barson Eden spa. The nearest to the pin prize was a Land Rover off-roading experience, while group competitions winners received a bottle of Glenfiddich whisky each.

“In the evening we had 55 guests for a three-course meal and raffle, with prizes including a Sale Sharks rugby t-shirt signed by all first-team players, a Sale Sharks Gilbert rugby ball signed by Faf de Klerk – part of the South African World Cup winning team in 2019 and player for Sale Sharks until the end of last season.

“Also a Fossil hybrid smart watch, a seven-night stay at a Sutton Hall holiday home, a £100 voucher for D&G Autocare, a Fortnum & Mason champagne pairing box, and a four-ball tournament at Woburn golf course.

“We were really pleased to be able to hold the day to thank our members and to raise funds for Macmillan, a fantastic charity very close to our hearts, with one of our team having personal experience of the amazing support they provide to people affected by cancer.”
