Lancashire Manufacturer launches ‘World Class’ range

A Nelson based manufacturer of Salon, Spa and Barber Furniture has launched a new range for 2023 that has been hailed as ‘World Class’.

REM UK Ltd Designed and Manufactured the new range of furniture in Nelson, Lancashire, using their CAD Technology and highest quality materials. Designed by Paul Peak and Francesca Corteen the launch at their showroom this week is receiving significant interest from their distributor network.

Formed over 100 years ago by Eugine Suter, the company became renowned for their Hood Dryers, the first on the market in the 1920’s. This revolutionary Perming Machine was the first of many industry-leading and innovate products that created the foundation for REM as we know it today.

Over the years REM has focussed on product development and moving into new markets. It is now the largest UK Manufacturer of Salon, Spa and Barber Furniture.

With over 90% of REM’s products produced in the UK at their Glenfield Mill in Nelson, the company is focussing on reducing their reliance on Imports and expanding and developing their 60+ workforce, including the recruitment of several apprentices in the next few months.

Anyone wishing to visit their showroom in Nelson is welcome, where they can view the new product range and their extensive range of contemporary and classic products.
