FIVE-BEDROOM HOMES HIT THE MARKET IN BURSCOUGH

A new wave of larger houses has been launched in Burscough to meet the growing demand from Redrow’s home buyers.

The new phase at The Grange at Yew Tree Park will include some five-bedroom designs, which is the first time homes of this size have been available at Redrow’s development.

Sian Pitt, sales director for Redrow Lancashire, said: “We’ve had lots of customers at The Grange looking for larger homes and, so far, we’ve only had three and four-bedroom properties available. We can now satisfy demand for larger families with our new collection, which includes some five-bedroom houses.”

New build homes are currently even more attractive given they save homeowners an average of £2,600* a year on their energy bills, compared to equivalent size older properties.

Sian added: “We are seeing buyers downsizing from larger, older properties or even making a sideways move to a similar size new Redrow home, as they are so much more energy efficient and cheaper to run and maintain over the long-term.

“With stamp duty recently cut and many people able to transfer their mortgage to a new property, it could make sense to move rather than spend time and money to upgrade an older property to the same standard as a new Redrow home.”

Among the new five-bedroom properties available is the Hampstead, an impressive home with five double bedrooms and an integral garage. Downstairs, a large open-plan kitchen, dining and family room spans the rear of the property while an expansive lounge to the front features a beautiful bay window.

Upstairs, bedrooms one and two both benefit from an en-suite each, while the remaining three bedrooms share a generous family bathroom.

Yew Tree Park is within easy reach of Preston, Liverpool, Southport and Manchester by train, and lies south of the main A59 Liverpool to Preston Road giving superb commuter access.

Locally there is a wide choice of leisure and shopping facilities.

Four and five-bedroom homes on the new phase at The Grange at Yew Tree Park start from £379,995.

Two new show homes – a Ledsham and a Marlow will be opening in the spring. Until then, Redrow’s sales consultants will be on hand at the sales office on Liverpool Road to assist would-be home owners.
