Porsche Centre Preston Named Among the Best in the Country – Again!

Porsche GB has named Porsche Centre Preston among the top dealerships in the country.

The dealership, on Watery Lane in Preston, was runner-up out of 46 dealerships in the country using the Porsche GB Balanced Scorecard.

An event hosted by TV personality Fred Sirieix at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire revealed Porsche’s country rankings.

The Balanced Scorecard ranks centres for their operational performance. Two years ago, the centre achieved the best scores in the country at the same event.

Paul Bowker, chief executive of Bowker Motor Group, owners of Porsche Centre Preston, said: “Thank you to our team for their dedication and commitment. We are incredibly grateful to customers for their positive feedback. We have come so far in a short time since we opened. We’re thrilled to see our efforts recognised again.

The Balanced Scorecard is a performance management tool. It monitors an organisation’s KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). A wide range of indicators includes financial performance, customer satisfaction, internal processes, and learning and growth. Porsche GB uses the tool to gain insights into its dealerships and identify areas for improvement.

Tom Fox, Porsche Centre Preston managing director, said: “This is another wonderful achievement for the centre. We are especially pleased to be placed so highly for the second time in four years. Everyone has worked hard and created a great customer experience. The excellent balanced scorecard results make it worthwhile, especially after the challenges posed by the Covid lockdown.”

In 2021, Porsche GB acknowledged a partnership between a Porsche Centre Preston and a West Lancashire two-star Michelin restaurant as the best in the country. The commercial collaboration with Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms in Aughton, West Lancashire, was launched in September 2020.

The criteria for the award from Porsche GB for Best Partnership in the UK focussed on collaborative innovation and creativity. 40 Porsche Centres in the UK were eligible to be considered for the award.
