Slim Chickens Introduces Slimdependence Day as the New Name for Fourth of July

Renowned American chicken chain Slim Chickens, which has rapidly gained popularity in the UK fast-casual dining scene, is taking its Fourth of July celebrations to the next level by renaming it Slimdependence Day!

Despite being in the UK for just five years, Slim Chickens already boasts 45 restaurants across the country, with plans to open more locations this year, including outlets at Haven Holiday sites.

Embracing its American heritage and recognising the love for its authentic American recipes among Brits, including popular YouTuber Chunkz, TikTok icons Brookie and Jessie, and Love Island alumna Kady McDermott, Slim Chickens is bringing the spirit of the US holiday to the UK. The aim is to make this year’s Fourth of July a grand day of Slimdependence celebration throughout the nation.

To mark the occasion, Slim Chickens is introducing two delectable additions to its menu on July 4th. Customers can indulge in the new Buffalo Blue Loaded Fries and enjoy the Caramel Flake flavor, the latest addition to its lineup of eight hand-spun shakes.

In the spirit of celebration, Slims is also offering a chance to win a trip to New York with an additional £1000 for shopping! Customers who purchase a Tenders Meal between June 27th and July 11th and scan their loyalty card in the app will be entered into the draw.

As part of the festivities, Slim Chickens is providing various offers throughout the Independence Day month. In the first week, customers can enjoy Four solo Tenders for just £4, followed by a Two for £6 milkshake offer in the second week. From July 17th, a Solo Wrap will be available for only £2.49, and between July 24th and 30th, all milkshakes will be priced at £3. These prices make Slim Chickens shakes more affordable than most ice cream cones from an ice cream van!

To take advantage of these fantastic offers, customers are encouraged to download the user-friendly Slim Chickens app. Users can collect reward points and receive free products and discounts. Additionally, downloading the app and making a purchase using the loyalty card scheme will earn customers 3 FREE wings, or they can receive a free milkshake with three points.

Pigott concluded by inviting Londoners to head down to the Cambridge Circus restaurant on Fourth of July to witness the Slimdependence Day parade. The event will feature traditional Fourth of July-style acts, including Stilt Walkers, fireworks, and, of course, an abundance of food. On the day, for just four pounds, everyone can enjoy four Slim Chicken tenders, and those who purchase a Tenders Meal will have the chance to win a trip to New York.
