Vincent Kompany is encouraging his players to visualise winning Premier League games in a hope it will translate to better performances on the pitch.
The Clarets host Bournemouth tomorrow with the gap between them and safety now standing at 11 points following the decision to hand four points back to Everton on appeal of their PSR sanction.

Burnley have failed to win in six games in all competitions and their prospects are looking increasingly bleak.
Kompany said: “We are dealing with a similar situation or have dealt with a similar situation [this season]. The main thing now is we have to visualise ourselves winning these types of games.
“We have to attach the feeling that they are a very good side but we need the ambition to go and win. We’ve learned that the Premier League has no easy games and it will be no different on the weekend.”
Burnley’s next three games at Turf Moor are against Bournemouth, Brentford and Wolves with all three presenting an opportunity for Kompany’s side to claim some much-needed points.
“We have to look at every game as an opportunity. We can’t be selective. Firstly, there’s a game at the weekend and that, for now, is the only one that matters,” Kompany added.
Burnley were beaten 3-0 at Crystal Palace last weekend but Kompany said he didn’t dwell on the disappointment of that result for long.
“The aftermath of losing a game of that importance [3-0 against Crystal Palace], 24 hours is not a good 24 hours, and then you go back to work and looking at what the next game can offer,” he said.
“[Solving problems] is part of what I like. Injecting belief and giving the players something to help them is something I’m passionate about. It’s not easy but I was warned a long time before I made the decision to become a coach that this is part of the job.”
