BWS: From Manchester Origins to Global Creative Powerhouse

Ben Wild Studios, the creation of self-taught artist Ben Wild, has unveiled a major rebranding to reflect its significant growth and expanded market reach. The studio will now be known as BWS, symbolising a new chapter in its journey since its inception in 2019.

Ben Wild, hailing from Manchester and diving into animation after leaving Sale High School at 15, has revolutionised the traditional animation industry with his unique vision.

Embarking on his career without a university degree, Ben has inspired countless aspiring artists to chase their dreams with unwavering determination and creativity.

At 25, Ben Wild has rapidly advanced from an on-site storyboard artist for a film studio to collaborating with prestigious global clients. The transition from Ben Wild Studios to BWS, carefully crafted by Ben, signifies the studio’s growth and its expanded creative capabilities beyond animation.

“Since our first project with co-founder and investor Andrew Morgan back in 2019, we’ve realised the potential to grow and adapt in this fast-paced industry,” said Ben Wild. “Rebranding to BWS reflects not just our roots but also our wings as we expand into new horizons.”

In a mere three years, BWS has not only doubled its team but also amassed an impressive client portfolio, including the Premier League, Seren Kids, CBBC, New Balance and Amazon Prime, highlighting the demand for BWS’ high-quality, hand-drawn animations that evoke nostalgia yet innovate digital storytelling.

As BWS, the studio is poised to tackle even more exciting projects and broader creative challenges, driven by a team that has doubled in size over the past year. This growth underscores BWS’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the traditional animation sphere.
