Balqis Capital Partners with England’s Liam Livingstone

Balqis Capital has announced a new sponsorship deal with England cricket star Liam Livingstone, aligning its expertise in private credit with sporting excellence.

The partnership comes shortly after Liam was signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 auction for 8.75 crore.

Over the next 12 months, Balqis Capital will support the ICC’s top-ranked IT20 all-rounder, who recently captained England during their ODI series in the West Indies.

Livingstone also represents Lancashire, Birmingham Phoenix, and Pretoria Capitals, with previous stints at Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings in the IPL.

Arron Lilley, Balqis Capital’s Global Sales Director, commented: “At Balqis we have a huge passion for sport and we are excited to support Liam with this sponsorship deal.

“We are always looking for ways we can partner with athletes on their journeys through sponsorship and collaboration. This also includes working with them on what we do best – sourcing private credit projects. We have worked with several athletes as clients over the years, we specialise in working with advisers and high net worth individuals, so it seems the perfect synergy,” he added.

Exploring Private Credit

Private credit involves providing external funding for ventures or legal cases in exchange for a portion of the returns. It offers faster and more flexible solutions than traditional loans, particularly for businesses with specialised financial needs.
