Carpets Online Goes Live as S&R Carpets Expands Across the UK

Carpets Online has officially launched, marking a major new chapter for S&R Carpets, the family-run flooring business with more than 40 years of experience in West Yorkshire.

The expansion online follows growing demand from customers nationwide. Shoppers have travelled from cities such as London, Birmingham and Manchester to visit S&R Carpets, attracted by its strong reputation for service and value. Continued referrals and repeat purchases revealed a clear desire for nationwide access without the need to travel.

Over four decades, the company has grown from a single shop into four thriving retail stores, bucking industry trends that have seen many independents close. As more consumers now prefer to shop online, the decision was made to create a dedicated digital brand.

Carpets Online launches with a carefully chosen range of bestsellers and exclusive products, all available for dispatch within 36 hours. This ensures fast and reliable delivery while maintaining competitive pricing. Typical delivery times are three to five working days for England and Wales and four to seven days for remote regions. In some cases, customers have even received next-day delivery after being disappointed elsewhere.

The collection includes popular ranges such as Dreams, known for its thick 20mm soft pile, alongside SCS Olympia and Supreme, both recognised for value and colour choice. Prices are significantly lower than many competitors, with some products priced at £17.97 per square metre compared to £33.99 elsewhere. Exclusive manufacturer-sourced ranges, including Richmond Deluxe and Dreams, are also available.

Grey remains the most requested carpet colour, while beige is predicted to grow in popularity during 2025. Herringbone vinyl is currently the preferred flooring for kitchens and bathrooms. Many customers seek luxury options such as thick bedroom carpets or ultra-soft textures. Around 30% of customers are landlords or developers who rely on Carpets Online to manage complete flooring projects. LVT flooring is also rising in popularity and will be a key focus in 2026.

A salesperson from Carpets Online said: “Customers using the new site are already praising the personal service the team provides, which is reflected in our great reviews on Trustpilot. Rather than relying solely on online chat, staff regularly call customers to help them choose the right flooring for their home. Buying flooring is an emotional decision for many people, and speaking to a real person makes the experience easier and more reassuring.”

To support national expansion, the company has invested heavily in infrastructure, including relocating to a 9,000-square-foot warehouse, strengthening logistics partnerships and recruiting new staff locally. The long-term goal is to build a nationally recognised brand built on service, trust and value.

To mark the launch, customers can use the WINTER2026 code for a limited-time discount. Mailing list subscribers can also access further savings of between five and fifteen percent, depending on order size.
