Deborah Maw, a spiritual astrologer, teacher and long-time retreat guide, has announced that the first WildeStar Retreat will take place on the island of Anglesey.
The retreat will be limited to four participants and is designed for founders, coaches and business owners who are already established in their work but are seeking deeper clarity and perspective.
“That intimacy is essential,” Deborah said. “This isn’t about scale. It’s about precision. About stepping away long enough to see clearly.”
Participants will stay in accommodation surrounded by natural landscapes, with the sea a fifteen-minute walk away and a quiet lake just five minutes from the property. The site also includes modern ensuite rooms, along with a sauna and hot tub. Activities will include coastal walks, fire circles and dedicated time away from digital devices.
Rather than positioning itself as a typical wellness escape, WildeStar aims to provide a deeper experience centred on solitude and reflection in nature. Participants spend intentional time outdoors without headphones, continuous dialogue or the impulse to record the moment, creating space for awareness and self-trust to develop.
“There is an experience you cannot download,” Deborah added. “You cannot think your way into it. You have to walk into it.”
Deborah has spent decades exploring the connection between symbolism, psychological insight and embodied awareness through her work as a spiritual astrologer and educator. Her nomadic lifestyle and long coastal walks have significantly influenced the creation of the WildeStar concept.
She was recently recognised as Most Influential Brand at the Big Business Events awards, acknowledging her innovative work in immersive learning and leadership development.
“Unlike performance-driven retreats focused on optimisation, WildeStar focuses on coherence — the alignment of intuition, strategy, and embodied presence,” she said.
“When constant input is removed, perception sharpens. Decisions change. Clarity becomes a true competitive advantage.”
To introduce the wider WildeStar vision, Deborah will also host a series of online webinars designed for entrepreneurs interested in exploring new approaches to leadership and personal presence.
“This isn’t about stepping back from your work,” she said. “It’s about returning to it with a different quality of presence.”
