From Barbeque to Carouselle

Rising photographer, Phil Bamber, has setup his first Limited company after attending an office barbeque. Social media specialists, Lucky 6 Marketing, were holding their annual barbeque celebration when they met Phil and the idea of a new business, soon to be Carouselle Limited, was born.

Phil had been drafted in to take photos at the barbecue the night before. It was an unplanned but fateful arrangement that saw the directors of Lucky 6 Marketing chatting at length with Phil about starting up a new venture. A few months later the new Preston photographic studio was established.

Specialising in fine-art and documentary style photography Phil is planning a big future for the new studio. “There is huge scope for a new type of studio in Lancashire,” Phil explained, “the old style of white backdrop type photography is quickly giving way to a more stylised boutique look that is far more timeless. Combined with the beautiful location of the studio we are offering an experience unique to Preston.”

Until recently Phil had been providing Photo Workshops in the centre of Preston and working as a part-time supply teacher. He now plans to move the workshops to the new studio address as well as expanding the services offered.  As a director of Carouselle Limited, Phil is now a full-time photographer covering Lancashire and beyond. Initial services will include corporate headshots, fine art children’s photography and documentary style wedding photography.

Based on the Clifton Fields estate between Preston city centre and Freckleton the new studio boasts a 100-year-old cobble courtyard, redbrick converted farm buildings and spacious gravel car park. Set to inspire and impress the studio location is planned to add to the experience making a photo session with Carouselle something much more special.

Carouselle Limited opened early in February 2017 and will initially be based from the Lucky 6 Marketing office.
