Financial experts to headline exclusive free West Lancs event

Leading members of the North West financial industry will speak at an exclusive free event in Burscough in March, hosted by Acumen Financial Partnership.

They will be sharing their knowledge with the public and local business community on the subject of inheritance tax and estate planning.

Guest speakers include Susan Sherry from Hill Dickinson Solicitors and Jaclyn King-Gibson from Rathbone Investment Management.

Topics up for discussion include wealth management, business property relief, succession planning and lasting powers of attorney.

The event takes place on March 13 (2-5pm) and marks a successful twelve months since Acumen was welcomed into its current offices on Burscough’s Swordfish Business Park by West Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper.

In that time the firm has broken the £100m barrier for funds under management, with the figure currently standing at £128m.

Angela Maher, Acumen’s managing director, said:

“After the success of hosting our first investment event last summer, we couldn’t wait to follow it up by inviting a new raft of industry leaders to share their knowledge.

“Once again, we’ve attracted some of the most respected and experienced speakers from leading UK financial firms to come to Burscough.

“It promises to be an informative and interesting afternoon.”

Full details of the speakers are available online at: www.acumenfinancial.co.uk/blog and bookings to attend can be made by emailing: [email protected] on a first-come, first-served basis.
