NORTH WEST FIRM KICK START AMBITIOUS GROWTH PLANS

Managed service provider Seriun have enjoyed 100% organic growth to date and have a healthy base of loyal customers. But, with soaring aspirations they have put strategic growth plans in place to surpass £3 million turnover within 2 years.

Based in the North West across two sites in Burnley and Warrington, Seriun have been digitally transforming businesses since 2003, through their innovative IT, telecoms and software solutions. They work with world class partners and suppliers and pride themselves on delivering excellent service to their customers.

Derren Stephenson, Seriun’s Service Manager, said: “We give all our customers, big or small, the same great level of service, and we get enormous satisfaction from seeing them enjoy the benefits of effective communications and more efficient operations.”

David Baines, Operations Director of Stockport based engineering group Manufax (one of Seriun’s customers) said: “We are now at the stage where we work closely with Seriun to shape and deliver strategic projects. They’ve become a valued and trusted supplier.”

Seriun recently introduced a legendary customer service initiative – their own ‘code of conduct’ to ensure no less than ‘excellent service’ is delivered and maintained – allowing them to stand-out from the crowd.

Justin Sherwood, Managing Director of Seriun said: “Our customers are at the heart of our business and we have great relationships with them all. It humbles me to know that we’re recognised for the extra-mile we go… whatever it takes, we’ll be there.”

Their growth plans kicked off with a business restructure – creating a management layer, and establishing senior roles to lead teams within. They also realised that investment in marketing and sales was necessary to take the business forward. Alongside both these developments came the launch of their recruitment drive; focussing on recruiting the best local talent where possible. Last year saw the addition of Laura Brown to the team as Marketing Manager. Laura has re-branded the company and is driving campaigns forward to raise Seriun’s profile in the marketplace. Earlier this year Darren Winterbottom joined as Business Development Manager and is keen to accelerate the company’s growth strategy. Also, as part of Seriun’s Apprenticeship programme, they recently welcomed Daniel Bethell to the team as Junior Developer to handle the maintenance of some of their key software projects.

Over the coming months Seriun are looking to grow their software and technical teams further, and are planning a move to new, larger premises to accommodate their expansion.

Sherwood said: “We have realigned our business strategy and are currently investigating investment opportunities to help facilitate our development. We also have our sights on a potential acquisition that would set us well on our way to achieving our growth plans. it’s an exciting time for Seriun!”
