Forbes and PM+M act on the sale of Blackburn-based Botanical Group Services Limited

Forbes Solicitors’ Corporate team has acted for Blackburn-based horticultural services business Botanical Group Services Limited over its sale to Nurture Landscape Holdings Limited, together with PM+M Corporate Finance.

The business provides a wide range of horticultural and grounds services across the North West to a large number of different sectors and businesses.

The Company was founded in 1993 by Gary Collinson.  It has continued to grow over the years obtaining an excellent reputation enabling it to secure business in numerous sectors.

Gary Collinson, Managing Director and Founder of Botanical Group Services Limited said, “The sale of Botanical to Nurture is a perfect fit, our service offering and values are very much aligned which will ensure that our valued clients and dedicated staff are well served. The national capability of Nurture will also present greater opportunity, as the market shifts increasingly towards single source procurement. Selling a much loved and successful business is never an easy decision and potentially a complicated process. However, with the understanding and experience of Peter Fane (MD Nurture Landscapes) and the professional input of both Forbes and PM&M the deal was completed smoothly and without issue. “

Jennifer Bell, Associate at Forbes, said, “It has been an absolute pleasure working with Gary on this transaction and I wish him all the best with his plans for the future.”

Tim Mills, Partner at PM+M said, “This is a great deal for both Botanical and Nurture. Gary has built a business with an enviable reputation in the industry and it will continue to grow and develop as part of the Nurture group.”
