Party time in Preston as city-centre hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary

After a successful decade of serving Preston’s business and leisure community, Legacy Preston International Hotel celebrated its 10-year anniversary with an evening event on Thursday, 18 October.

Celebrations began with Prosecco and canapés, as guests entered the modern city-centre hotel. Local musician, Louise Spiteri set the scene with catchy pop and soul classics, whilst local magician Ian Edgar had all the tricks to wow guests. A taste of the hotel’s British-inspired menu was served in the lounge area whilst guests mingled. Delicious highlights included, ham hock and pea terrine, rump steak with blue cheese sauce and apple and blackberry crumble.

Among the guests were local business leaders, dignitaries and hotel guests, as well as the hotel’s owners, members of the Legacy Hotels & Resorts management team and The Mayor of Preston, Councillor Trevor Hart, who led an inspiring talk on the community of Preston. Guests left with an exclusive Legacy Preston International Hotel goody bag, full of treats to enjoy.

Speaking at the 10-year anniversary party, general manager Bernadette Plumb commented; “I can’t believe it’s been a decade already! Having been at the hotel since the very beginning, seeing how much its grown and now looking at the fantastic team we have, I’m so thrilled to celebrate our success with everyone tonight. Here’s to the next decade and building on the great reputation we have created.”
