This year, Taziker employees have been showing their generosity by donating gifts to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal.
Our people from all around the UK have been donating new toys and gifts for families whose children would otherwise not receive a present this festive period. The thoughtfulness shown during this initiative has been truly humbling and we’re very proud to have people here at Taziker that have made such an effort for those who really deserve it.
Presents could be dropped off at any Taziker office during November and these were then transported to the nearest Salvation Army location by special Taziker elves! Once received by the Salvation Army, the gifts will be sorted, wrapped and distributed to children and young people in need.
We’re really pleased that so many people got involved and purchased gifts for this very special cause.
Supporting the Salvation Army
Gifts from Taziker’s Chorley office were taken to the Salvation Army Centre in Wigan and Major Mark Lewis sent a special thank you: “Thank you for your donation of toys for our Christmas Present Appeal. This makes such a difference to those that will benefit from it. Much of what you have donated has now been allocated to those that need this help and it is awaiting collection or delivery. Thanks again.”
Angela Holmes, Training Coordinator at Taziker, commented: “A fantastic effort from the small team at the Horwich office towards the Christmas Present Appeal – thank you so much to all those who donated.” She added, “Major Sue Betts from the Bolton Salvation Army office was absolutely overjoyed.”
Siobhan Collyer, Document Controller at Taziker, dropped off gifts at the Salvation Army’s Chelmsford Citadel and received this message from Tracey Mountford, Major – Corps Officer: “Thank you once again for your amazing kindness from Taziker in helping donate to our Christmas Toy Appeal. Please accept my thanks on behalf of The Salvation Army Chelmsford Citadel and those who will receive the gifts. Have a blessed Christmas.”
After Lee Armstrong, a Senior Project Manager at Taziker, dropped off gifts from the Carlisle office, Captains Steve and Melanie Scoulding were overjoyed to receive so many gifts as referrals to the Appeal have increased this year. Captain Mel said: “Thank you so much for all the toys! We were blown away and will be very busy over the next few days getting all the gifts bagged and delivered! We know that your kindness will bring smiles to so many homes this Christmas.”

Additionally, our Scotland, Heywood, Cardiff and Bristol offices also had a great selection of gifts that were donated to local Salvation Army centres.
