Lancashire Motor Group Confirms New Look Sales Team at BMW and MINI Centres in Blackburn and Preston

Bowker Motor Group has restructured the team of seven managers who will lead sales at its Blackburn and Preston centres. The changes will see both sites working even more closely together.

43-year-old Richard Cowell becomes new Bowker BMW & MINI group general sales manager. In his new role, Richard will now lead, support and assist six new and used car sales managers at Bowker BMW and Bowker MINI franchises in both Blackburn and Preston.

Richard from Rawtenstall has been promoted to the Group role from the position of general sales manager at Bowker BMW on Trident Park in Blackburn; a role he fulfilled for three years.

The team of seven includes new recruit Craig Stephenson who has joined Bowker BMW in Blackburn as new car sales manager. The 39-year-old has worked in automotive retail for more than 14 years and will take on many of the responsibilities included in Richard’s previous role.

Bowker Motor Group director Chris Eccles said: “By restructuring our sales team we can focus our award-winning customer experience across both sites. We’ve issued Richard and his team a challenge: to deliver and maintain the same high level of customer support, service and value whichever Bowker Centre you visit.

“Richard’s new role continues his long career with Bowker Motor Group and reflects his deep understanding of automotive retail. He has won awards and established himself as one of the most talented and well-respected automotive sales professionals in the region.

“The team has already worked together for a number of years. And, now, with Craig joining at Bowker Blackburn, we have an exciting group of ambitious professionals to lead our car sales post Lockdown.”
