Doggy gift boxes help elevate American pet in the UK

Copper Beech Trading has been recruited by an American dog chew toy brand with their UK and European launch through product sampling and gifting.

Copper Beech Trading, founded in 2011 and based in the North West, works with growing businesses to provide storage, packing and fulfilment services including personalised and branded gift boxes. They were approached in 2022 by Benebone – a manufacturer of durable and long-lasting dog chew toys, to help them reach more UK customers.

Katie Tyndale, Founder of Copper Beech Trading said, “Benebone are a fantastic, ambitious company with an award-winning product range, and they approached us shortly after launching their brand in the UK. They wanted to work with us to assist them with fulfilment of gifts and samples. We hold much of the Benebone range in stock, so we’re able to cost-effectively pick, pack and ship as required.”

Katie Tyndale, Founder of Copper Beech Trading,

Part of Benebone’s marketing strategy and process involves sending product samples to retail chains and independent shops, as well as sending bespoke gift boxes to potential customers and influencers with items including dog chew toys, treats and branded bandanas.

Victoria Lowe, International Sales & Marketing Manager at Benebone said, “A big part of our UK and European growth plan involves gift marketing and influencer marketing to spread the word about our super-strong, flavoured dog chew toys. We needed to find a service provider who had storage solutions and the ability to create our high touch client gifts to fulfil this for us. Katie and the team at Copper Beech are great to work with, flexible and detail orientated. Nothing is too much trouble.”

Subscription boxes and gift boxes are something that many businesses are now using to engage with customers and staff, according to Katie.

She explains, “Over the past few years, particularly during the pandemic, we’ve had increasing requests from companies wanting to thank and recognise their staff by sending reward and gift boxes. We also saw a spike in subscription boxes, where businesses began offering a mail order service to customers who no longer purchased from them in the same face to face way.”

Copper Beech Trading are predicting a further rise in influencer gifting requests in 2023 as businesses embrace this form of collaborative marketing.

For small and medium sized businesses who struggle to hold large volumes of stock and who require support with packing and distribution, you can find out more about the bespoke solutions available at Copper Beech Trading via https://copperbeechtrading.co.uk/
