Italian Café Nesso Introduces Elevated Brunch Afternoon Tea Experience

Premium Afternoon Tea for Two from £39.95 for Club Members

LEEDS & MORLEY, UK. June 1, 2026 – Bringing together two popular dining traditions, Nesso has launched a new Brunch Afternoon Tea concept at its Leeds and Morley locations. Inspired by the relaxed style of Italian brunch culture and the timeless appeal of British afternoon tea, the experience offers guests a more contemporary and satisfying way to enjoy an afternoon treat.

Tailored for shoppers, theatre-goers, couples, friends and visitors looking for something a little different, the menu combines artisan pastries, brunch favourites and warm Italian-inspired service.

Moving away from the sandwich-focused approach of traditional afternoon tea, Nesso’s version pairs freshly baked sweet treats with a choice of brunch dishes, creating a heartier experience while preserving the sense of indulgence associated with the occasion.

Priced at £44.50 for two guests (£39.95 for Nesso Club members), guests receive a welcome glass of bubbly or fresh juice each, two giant baked scones with clotted cream and jam, two cupcakes, two Sicilian cannoli (pistachio and hazelnut), a choice of one brunch dish per guest, and one pot of tea to share or an Americano each.

A bottle of Prosecco can also be added for just £10.

The launch reflects Nesso’s continued focus on premium brunch experiences, combining quality ingredients, artisan baking and modern brunch classics.

Popular dishes include Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast, Eggs Benedict, Halloumi Avocado Toast, Panettone French Toast, Bacon Pancakes with Maple Syrup & Ricotta and Seasonal Chef Specials.

By blending elements of both brunch and afternoon tea, the experience delivers greater flexibility and choice than many traditional offerings.

Nesso Leeds is conveniently located near the First Direct Arena, Leeds Grand Theatre, Victoria Gate and Merrion Centre, making it a popular choice for pre-theatre dining, celebrations, meetings and city centre visits.

Meanwhile, Nesso Morley provides the same menu in a relaxed neighbourhood setting, ideal for guests seeking a premium experience without travelling into Leeds city centre.

Nesso Club members can enjoy the experience for £39.95 per couple, representing a £5 saving.

In addition, members earn loyalty points with every purchase, redeemable at both Nesso and the award-winning Kerala Canteen.
