Lloyd Blackpool named ‘BMW Retailer of the Year’

Lloyd Blackpool BMW is celebrating after the family owned retailer won the prestigious ‘BMW Retailer of the Year’ award, the highest accolade chosen and presented by BMW UK.

Announced at the annual BMW, MINI and Motorrad Conference in Barcelona, the award was presented by Graham Grieve, CEO of BMW Group UK, in recognition of Lloyd Blackpool’s exceptional customer service and business performance throughout 2016 among more than 140 other BMW Retailers in the UK.

This accomplishment is made even more impressive as this is the second consecutive year and the fourth time in the last ten years that a BMW Retailer from Lloyd Motor Group has received this coveted title, making them the first Group to have achieved this in the history of BMW UK’s prestigious award ceremonies.

This latest achievement builds on Lloyd Blackpool’s position as ‘BMW Customer Service Retailer of the Year’ in last year’s awards – a reflection of their commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Understandably delighted by this acknowledgement of his team’s dedication, Mark Powell, Head of Business at Lloyd Blackpool, commented:

“I am personally incredibly proud that we have been named ‘BMW Retailer of the Year’.  It is without doubt due to the constant team effort and focus on delivering exceptional performance and, most importantly, ensuring our customers’ satisfaction. This award is a credit to every member of my team as well as to our customers, whom I would like to thank wholeheartedly for their continued loyalty and valued support over the years.’

Lloyd Blackpool is one of Lloyd Motor Group’s six BMW and MINI centres, the other five of which are in Carlisle, Cockermouth, Colne, Newcastle and South Lakes.  With retailers representing other leading automotive brands across the North of England and South of Scotland, this family-owned and-run business prides itself on its friendly and professional approach, which has been evident across the organisation since it was founded over four decades ago.

Bryan Lloyd, Managing Director, observed: “We really appreciate BMW UK’s recognition of our continuous focus on making our customers feel truly special whenever and wherever they come to us.  We also believe that having happy and fulfilled staff who are genuinely proud to represent prestige brands such as BMW makes a real difference to our customers’ experience and this is reflected in our continued success at the BMW awards throughout the years and hopefully in the years to come.”
