EXCELLENCE ACCOLADE FOR THE ROYAL HOTEL

The Royal Hotel at Kirkby Lonsdale, owned by Clitheroe based James’ Places, has been awarded the HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence for 2017 in the UK and Ireland.

The award is the result of analysis of customer feedback from across the internet and highlights those who consistently attract positive opinions and top scores.

The Royal has achieved an average of 9.0 out of 10 across 262 customer reviews posted on a variety of different websites, forums and social media, which according to HotelsCombined, puts it in the top three per cent of accommodation worldwide for customer satisfaction.

Said Damian Atkins, general manager of The Royal: “We are delighted to be recognised by HotelsCombined which reflects the hard work and dedication of all our staff. We love The Royal and it is extra special for us to receive an accolade which is based on the opinions of the people who matter the most – our customers.”

Paulina Krolikowska, marketing manager of HotelsCombined United Kingdom added: “What is different about the Recognition of Excellence is the way information is gathered and analysed – it all depends on the guest and his or her experience of that particular accommodation.”

The Royal Hotel is a 14-bedroom Georgian townhouse hotel in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale and ideally placed for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District.

The Royal Hotel is part of the James’ Places portfolio of hotels, inns, interior design and hospitality businesses across the Ribble Valley and Yorkshire Dales sharing the same service values and ethos.
