Energy business Octego expand with expert appointment

Fylde-based energy management business Octego has added to its growing workforce recruiting a Head of Sales and Marketing.

Chris Gore, 45-year-old father-of-two, will use his extensive experience in the energy sector at Octego’s headquarters in Blackpool, as well as their offices in Bristol and London.

As one of the fastest growing energy business in the UK, Octego offers a bespoke package tailored to meet its client’s diverse energy requirements. From cost recovery and compliance to procurement and efficiency, Octego provide solution for some of the biggest public and private companies in the country; including AstraZeneca, the DVLA and Morphy Richards.

Chris said: “My role is to understand the customer’s needs and how we can support them where they need it most. The energy market is continually changing and companies are becoming more energy aware, particularly in the manufacturing industry.

“Wholesale market dynamics are driving companies to be ultra-competitive in the procurement of their energy and how it is used.

“I will be helping Octego build a reputation as one of the most trusted energy businesses in the UK with experts in every field of the market.”
