WREA Green Meadows is on course to secure a double first with the final few energy efficient homes now on sale in the sought-after Lancashire village.

While Wrea Green Meadows was the second site in the county acquired by Elan Homes, it was the first development the homebuilder launched in Lancashire. It’s now set to be the homebuilder’s inaugural sell-out success in Lancashire.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, explained: “Wrea Green is such a lovely village, where people aspire to live that we were keen to build here. Having taken over a stalled site, after the previous developers went into administration, we’ve been able to demonstrate why Elan has a strong record for building high quality homes people will love living in.

“Many of our purchasers at Wrea Green Meadow have been downsizers but we’ve also welcomed a range of other purchasers too. They all, of course, appreciate the enduring appeal of the village’s idyllic setting, but increasingly we’re finding that location alone isn’t the only factor. People want to reduce their energy consumption to lower their bills and their impact on the planet and recognise that moving to a new home will allow them to do both. We’re now counting down the final few homes available at this popular development and would encourage anyone considering moving here to act fast to avoid disappointment.”

Despite the limited availability there’s still plenty of choice. The final few homes include three, four and five-bedroom properties, with prices from £284,995.

Among them is a five-bedroom detached Windsor, priced from £624,995,

Offering 2,183 sq ft of living space, it’s a generously proportioned and very much designed with today’s lifestyles in mind.

The expansive kitchen, family and breakfast area is destined to be the heart of this substantial home. This sociable space is complemented by a separate lounge and formal dining room, connected by double doors.  Both the dining room and family room offer direct access to the garden, helping buyers make the most of their outside space.

A study, a must-have for those who spend at least part of the week working from home, cloakroom and utility complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, the main bedroom benefits a dressing area and en-suite, bedroom two also has an ensuite, plus a shower room is shared by two of the other bedrooms, effectively leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining bedroom.

To help make moving to a new home at Wrea Green Meadows simple and straight forward, Elan is offering part exchange. Effectively the homebuilder will act as a cash buyer for the customer’s existing property, even paying for the survey and agent fees. Homeowners will be even be able to stay in their old home until the new one is ready.

Wrea Green Meadows is set among countryside with the central village greenspace and other local amenities just a five-minute walk away; and the Victorian seaside town of Lytham only four miles away.

The sales office and show home at Wrea Green Meadows are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. For more information see www.elan-homes.co.uk/developments/wrea-green-meadows.
