The UK’s leading varicose vein and thread vein treatment provider, Veincentre, has opened a new clinic in Lancaster. The company is delighted to be expanding the services to people in North Lancashire and the Lake District, as well as most of the Yorkshire Dales.

Every location has all the necessary facilities and equipment to diagnose and treat varicose veins and thread veins in-house. All patients initially undergo a colour duplex ultrasound scan to diagnose the condition and will then discuss treatment options with their consultant, before a tailored treatment plan is created.
The procedures are safe, effective, walk-in, walk-out and minimally invasive, performed by highly experienced, specialist consultants, made up of Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Surgeons.
Veincentre has expanded on a huge scale over the past 3 years, going from 11 nationwide clinics in 2020 to over 30 in 2023 across England, Scotland and Wales. It is not widely known but varicose veins affect 30% of the population. They cause both cosmetic and symptomatic distress to patients and if left untreated can result in venous ulcers and varicose eczema.”
