Foundation On the Ball with Partnership Work

AFC Fylde Community Foundation continues to be on the ball strengthening its partnership work with local organisations.

Throughout the summer months, the Community Foundation has been working closely with Staining Juniors FC.

Together they have been delivering a free football training camp for the local community in Staining and it’s proving to be a great success.

It is only recently that the Foundation has begun working collaboratively with Staining Juniors FC and the free football camp is already benefiting lots of local youngsters by providing them with the opportunity to play sport in a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.

As well as the packed rota of free football being available throughout summer,  the Foundation team are also working with Staining Juniors to run additional academy sessions to directly improve the ability of the players. These focus purely on individual personal football needs with the trained staff from the Foundation able to offer one-on-one advice and guidance.

Foundation Director Tom Hutton is understandably proud of the new partnership formed and the rewards already being reaped. He said: “It’s a great honour to be asked to help out with grassroots teams. Both me and my team of staff understand the importance of junior football in the community and to now be involved and working in partnership with Staining Juniors is a great feeling for us. “
