Spacewell Energy: Dexma’s Rebranding Marks a New Chapter with Over 10,000 Customers Across 35 Countries

Dexma, a prominent provider of intelligent energy management solutions for buildings, retail, and industry, has unveiled its new identity as Spacewell Energy. This rebranding encompasses all of the company’s ventures, both domestically in Spain and internationally.

Since its acquisition by multinational corporation Spacewell in 2020, Spacewell Energy aims to solidify its position as a leader in efficient energy management within Europe while expanding its presence in new global markets.

Spacewell Energy offers a data-driven energy intelligence platform, empowering facility and property managers, energy service providers, and consultants to monitor energy consumption, analyze usage patterns, identify inefficiencies, and detect anomalies in real-time. Their SaaS solution enables businesses to optimize energy efficiency in their buildings and reduce carbon emissions.

Automated energy data management solutions play a crucial role in minimizing the environmental impact of organizations and building portfolios. Leveraging artificial intelligence, these tools generate valuable insights that can predict building behavior, lower energy costs, monitor resource usage, and enhance overall building performance.

Spacewell Energy: Addressing the Evolving Challenges of Organizations

The adoption of the new corporate name signifies the completion of the integration process that began in 2020 when Dexma joined forces with Spacewell, a technology company previously affiliated with the Nemetschek multinational. According to Xavi Novella, the appointed Managing Director of the company, “The world, technology, and organizational needs are constantly evolving, and at Spacewell Energy, we aim to respond to these new challenges while honoring our accomplishments thus far and embracing the future with optimism and a commitment to continued growth.”

Advancing International Expansion

With a customer base exceeding 10,000 across 35 countries, particularly in the UK, Spain, France, Benelux, and Italy, Spacewell Energy has experienced significant growth in 2022, witnessing a 24% increase in software license sales. To strengthen relationships with international customers and fuel further expansion, the company will maintain its headquarters in Barcelona while extending its global presence throughout Europe and beyond. This expansion strategy involves the establishment of new teams in the Benelux countries, the United States, France, Germany, India, and the Nordic countries.

Technology Empowering Energy Efficiency

In an era characterized by inflation and escalating energy prices, Spacewell Energy’s solutions utilize data to generate real-time, comprehensive reports on energy consumption, including anomalies, inefficiencies, and usage patterns. By leveraging this information, businesses can achieve energy savings of up to 20%.

Over 40% of Spacewell Energy’s workforce is dedicated to the design and development of energy management solutions. The company is committed to supporting businesses and organizations in adopting a more responsible approach to energy consumption, leading to cost savings and a reduced carbon footprint.
