Manchester-based office agency has published a Preston flexible workspace directory as commercial investment in the city increases.
As Preston welcomes a new wave of commercial activity, The Office Providers has created a new tool that simplifies how businesses compare flexible office space in the Lancashire city.
The flexible workspace directory profiles national providers, such as Regus, as well as North West flex space operators like Wrkspace, and Preston-focused providers, including Society1.
These office providers offer private serviced offices, managed office spaces, and coworking spaces in areas in the PR1 postcode district, including Church Street, Cross Street, and Fishergate, and the PR2 postcode district, including Fulwood and Preston Docklands.
Each profile listing is curated to include key factors such as pricing models, location, contract flexibility, and service inclusions, enabling an easy comparison of available workspace options in the Lancashire city.
Mike Gardener, Managing Director of The Office Providers, said: “There have been some significant announcements across a range of sectors in the past year, highlighting a high level of confidence in Preston.”
In 2025, plans were unveiled to redevelop St John’s Shopping Centre to deliver 500 new homes, a new NHS Neighbourhood Health Centre, retail and leisure space for shops and restaurants, and a new public square.
National restaurant chain Wagamama officially launched at the Animate leisure complex, which had opened its doors six months previously.
Plans were submitted for a 30-storey residential tower in Preston city centre, which would be the tallest in Lancashire.
Approval for a new £15m 50-unit office and industrial scheme in South Preston was secured.
It was also announced that Preston City Council had invested in the ongoing development of NW Mutual, a mutual bank serving small and medium-sized businesses.
Mike Gardener added: “We have created the directory to support this increased level of activity and enable companies and organisations to compare the available workspace options in Preston efficiently.”
